I had been a registered Republican for a total of 18,383 days, or 50 years, 3 months, 29 days. I registered for the first time on my birthday in 1970. I was excited to take part in a local governor’s race where Democrat John J. Gilligan defeated Republican nominee Roger Cloud with 54.19% of the vote. I worked for Cloud. That didn’t turn out right. It was not my fault I was just a kid.

In 1980 I helped out with the Ronald Reagan election and attended a speech he gave in Cincinnati , Ohio. He won. I had nothing to do with it.

Ever since, I have steadfastly supported and voted for Republicans in each state I lived in during elections. Having been in the broadcasting business for a very long time I lived in many different states.

Many years ago I had dealings with Lindsey Graham and his office staff in what turned out to be a deeply serious national security event that was swept under the rug by the Obama Administration (and if it had not been there would never have been a stolen election this year). I knew then Graham was either a blind fool or a totally corrupt and in the pocket of special interests traitor to the nation. But since the illegal acts were perpetrated by his staff and chief of staff I gave him the benefit of what little doubt remained. That was a mistake.

Over the years I’d laugh and joke about the cowards of the party. I’d taunt those obnoxious pansies running for Republican office for their inability to think past their gaze at the money they could reap as a ‘servant of the people’. I took part in discussions where I didn’t even try to defend Republican office holders as they are by and large: idiots.

Then along came Donald J. Trump, whom I did not support at first and have lived to regret that position even since as my wife Suesie and our granddaughter Jessica were staunch instant supporters. As was my habit I had picked a loser and was quite upset to learn Carly Fiorina was not only stupid but a deeply embedded traitor to the nation. I took Jessica to see Trump at a rally in Phoenix where we literally stood 30 feet from him in the first row. He was amazing.

Slowly I embraced the concept of an outsider pledging to give the country an enema. Drain the Swamp he said. Well, I was very well aware of the ‘swamp’. Back in the day we called it the ‘Shadow Government’. That was back when Government Corruption was abruptly renamed by George W. Bush to be Public Corruption. How stupid that was.

When corruption is in the Government it is the public’s fault for electing the criminals. That partially makes sense but not the name.

I watched over the past four years as everything he promised got done. Except draining the swamp. That actually made some sense as it had to be very hard to get rid of a cancer when the cancer runs the show.

I offered information that literally would have stopped this coup years ago but it was ignored. Logically the cancer was in control. Offered a great deal more recently and that was ignored. So OK. When someone hands you a solution to a problem you are grappling with and you ignore it you deserve to suffer the grapple. Back dated ballots, mysterious instant ballot deliveries, stolen and redirected legal mail was nailed in the Post Office with a literal sting arranged with a court of the United States but nothing. Crickets. (Yes I feel bad for killing crickets but they won’t stay out of the house.)

Big tech was nailed and the gift of Google’s federal felony head was handed to the administration months ago. More crickets.

I got all excited when, at the final rally for Trump, Vice President Pence directly referred to a line I used in a letter to him, the President and then Attorney General William Barr when he declared they had found the plug to the deep state and were ‘going to pull it tomorrow’. Election day.

I was so concerned in those correspondences because the ‘government corruption’ (not the public’s fault AT ALL) involved (and still does) Arizona elected Republican office holders. Just horrible human beings.

The very thought of Republicans breaking federal law, attacking a federal Court, made me sick. But not anymore.

Even though, a long shot scenario could place the events of 1/6/2021 in context with an elaborate law enforcement sting: and there is still time to pull that off. I’m not falling for hope in the wrong places ever again.

On January 20, 2021 at noon eastern time Joe and Hunter Biden will be free and clear. All deep state operatives will be back in control. Hillary will be safe and email free. Bill will be free to return to his philandering. Obama and his minions will be clear of all potential threats to their freedom. The NAACP will return to running the EEOC through direct action. The integrity of the US Courts will have been destroyed. There will never be another free election in this country. The Constitution is relegated to a pile of old paper.

ALL of that happened under Trump’s watch, whom I still admire and respect and blame totally. If someone is stealing an election and you as the top enforcer of law do not stop it, prosecute it and save the nation IT IS YOUR FAULT.

The really sad part about all of this is my wife. Suesie had not been ‘into’ politics for most of her life but when we got together I corrupted her into believing the Republicans were the ‘good guys’. I was wrong. In American Politics there are NO GOOD GUYS. For that, I am truly sorry. But it will never happen again.

As of today, Suesie and I have both officially thrown the Republican party in the trash heap of experience. We are now both registered INDEPENDENTS in Arizona (non-affiliated is the term they use here.) No party affiliation. No help for candidates. Not ever again. The only way to punish Republican traitors is to leave their party, destroy it, collapse its very being, relegate it to the Whig pit of uselessness and tell them to stick it. Our leaving won’t matter to them, will not have an impact on anything or anyone but its the only way to show how disgusted we are.

There is nothing worse than betrayal.

So Stick it!
