Verizon is unveiling new tools [1] to,….. to…. that’s backwards!
If you want to stop robocalls don’t block them. Just don’t permit them.
Blocking requires having been offended first. Blocking requires personal tasks normally performed while angry. Blocking means, like Verizon has done, collecting millions of phone numbers that might be offensive.
That people: IS STUPID!
A simple APP solves this.
Permission!
Any phone number you dial is added to the permitted list. Any number you add to the list manually is able to get in. Any call not in that list is rejected.
Simple.
Not all that millions of dollars of research that will be useless when numbers expire and are reassigned to real people.
The APP should be available for inclusion in a home land line as well as a cell phone. Not everybody can afford a cell phone.
Does such as APP exist? Nope.
But anyone is welcome to make it. If not, when I can, I WILL. But that might be a while. So you have a head start.
