Interactive program with and about the Internet, information technology and news from the computer world. Program managers are Heidi Villmones and Lars Sigurd Eide.

Way back in January of 1997, right after finishing construction of ‘Little Ricci’, the company, Neutronics Technologies Corporation was working on development of a first generation hardware brain, literally light years past the R.I.C.C.I. robot design. During that development Norway’s Spider program aired on NRK TV and on January 30, 1997 I was interviewed by the program about artificial intelligence.

https://tv.nrk.no/serie/spider/1997/XTRF72000597 contains the program in full. Strangely enough I have never found this video online in the 22 years i’ve looked for it. Having never viewed this episode and not knowing how I was presented in Norway, it is interesting to finally see it.

What a horrible picture they used. If you scroll to 12.04 on the timer it will start my portion of the interview program. 12:33 talks about Little Ricci! 14:12 ends my international debut. Short. But it does give a pretty interesting explanation of the process of design that was underway. Of course that ended when the company ran out of money. IT happens.
