The latest buzz phrase for what ails humans is IDENTITY POLITICS. Actually its IDENTITY ANYTHING.Why?Face it. If a person identifies as anything other than a unique human being that person IS NOT SELF-AWARE enough to be trusted WITH ANYTHING. The less self-aware the more animalistic. The less self-aware the more reactive. The less self-aware the more depressed and dangerous a person becomes.

Self Aware means having the ability to apply the breaks. There is no such thing as ’emotional intelligence’. Emotions are results of NOT applying the brakes.

Humans tend to just assume that humans are all there. People are people. Right? Wrong. Humans are meant to be self-aware. Not minimum aware> Fully aware. Sadly, this has finally reached the point where evolution, the forward marching process of species progression: has reversed. For humans.

Ever since humans first realized “I” there have been far more who do not attain “I”. If that was reversed the wealth would be concentrated in the lower income and no income people and the lack of wealth would be centered on the very rich. One has to be SELF AWARE ENOUGH to be in control to lead.

The ‘Peter Principal’, where a person will be promoted beyond their level of competence is based on self-awareness. The exception to the Peter Principal is the self-aware person who emerges as the leader, or the villain. Depends on other things.

People who identify as other than a unique human being need to learn what can be accomplished if they do become fully self-aware.


So how is self-awareness increased?

That depends on what your primary sense is. Your primary sense is the MAIN method your brain uses to think. You are born with it. You are either visually dominate or aurally dominate. You can hear yourself and see pictures but ONE of those will be in control. Which one is it? If you cannot see pictures in your head welcome to the condition. You are aural. If you cannot hear yourself in your head. You are a visual thinker.

If your primary thoughts are visual (you see pictures in your head while you think) then the visual pathways control your short term brain.

If your primary thoughts are aural (you hear yourself talk in your head while you think) then the aural pathways control your short term brain.


VISUALLY DOMINATE


 

If you think visually, your ears are your solution.

If your primary thoughts are visual just listen.

Listen to how other people talk. Listen for one thing. A question mark where it does not belong. A question mark, an uptick in the voice that ends like a question but isn’t. The more you do that the less you will have question marks in your speech and the more self-aware you will become.

Yes.. force yourself to listen. Listen to voices talk on TV and radio. For a great resource watch Home Town and Bargain Mansions and the other home remodeling shows. The actors go overboard in listing things and that is when you can hear the definitive upper ending of a phrase that should have been a statement but comes out a question. After a short period you will begin to become more self-aware. The act of forcing awareness of something that always just disappears into the background is a training method.

 


AURALLY DOMINATE

If you don’t wear glasses go to the 99cent store, buy a 99 cent pair of sun glasses, kick the lens out and wear them. SEE THE FRAMES!!! The frames are all you need.

If you wear glasses, ‘see’ your frames. Yes.. force yourself to see the frames of your glasses and if you realize you are not seeing your glasses, stop and see them. Keep aware of the frames. After a short period you will begin to become more self-aware. The act of forcing awareness of something that always just disappears into the background is a training method.

Try it. EITHER WAY you will eventually realize that your identity is you. It is NOT what you are; who you know; what you do; how you smell; how you look; how you feel; where you came from; what your heritage is; what your race is; what your height is; whether you love the opposite gender or the same… NONE of it is YOUR identity!

It takes the minimum of self-awareness to be human. It takes full self-awareness to survive as one.

When you do become fully self-aware you’ll know that. You will also stop being depressed all the time, stop reacting to minuscule stimuli and will get along with your family and coworkers a lot better. Imagine a world where people used their heads to think instead of react; a world where emotions were talked about not lived and reacted to. Imagine the calm that would emerge.

Give it a try.

If you quit you will not improve. If you don’t quit you will find what it means to gain brakes to emotions. You will excel in life. You will be mentally healthy (unless there’s something else.)

Why Glasses? What’s Wrong With My Contacts?

Nothing is wrong with your contacts. Glasses are the most obvious intrusion that can be placed before your eyes and your eyes can help you increase the control of self-awareness in short-term memory. One easy way to increase short-term awareness is to use it and the easiest way to use it is to remain aware of something that does not change. The glasses on your face do not change (other than slipping from time to time.) Be aware of your glasses, especially when you need to be aware of your thoughts. The awareness itself will build in long-term memory and you will find a moment where you realize you are indeed in control.

People who wear glasses know very well that after a short while they ‘forget’ they are wearing glasses and see just fine without any interference from the frames. They do not ‘recall’ wearing glasses unless attention is brought to them.

To increase short-term ‘awareness’, see the frames. If you continue to retain the interference of the frames you are thinking in short-term. To increase your short-term thinking dominance, keep remembering to ‘see those glasses’ in front of your face.

If you do not wear glasses you might imagine that such a blockage right in front of your face would be aggravating. Don’t fret. It does not take long to literally ‘forget’ you are wearing them. And there is a fine solution to increase short-term awareness. Stay aware of your glasses. Instructions:

  1. Remove glasses from case.
  2. Place each long thing sticking out from the lense holder over each ear (they will not both go on one ear.)
  3. Slide the frame back over your nose and rest it on top of your nose. (A space should be provided for your nose.)
  4. Look through the holes in the frame. (The holes should contain a lens or if you do not need a lens a simple hole will do.)
  5. Observe the frames on your face.
  6. Go about your daily business.
  7. The moment you do not observe the frames on your face. Observe the frames on your face.
  8. Whenever your need to speak in public, make a decision, or otherwise cause output that requires contemplation, observe the frames on your face and keep observing the frames on your face.
  9. No matter how hard you try you will come to not observe the frames on your face.
  10. When that happens: be aware of the frames on your face. See. That was simple. If you do not believe this will do anything for you, try it anyway. If only to prove it wrong. Good luck.
